Can you put Magnesium on your face?
Can you use Magnesium on your face? Is Magnesium good for wrinkles? Will Magnesium help with my acne?
These are all good questions and ones we get asked all the time!
The short answer is, yes - but only when combined with other nourishing ingredients!
The benefits of Magnesium applied topically for your skin are fast becoming more and more recognised and can include increased elasticity, improved skin tone, improved collagen synthesis (goodbye wrinkles) and regulation of sebum and oil production (goodbye acne).
Our Magnesium Oil is extremely concentrated and generally has a pH of 8 or above, which means it has the potential to tingle the skin when applied. Some apply it to their thighs or calves after a gym session and don't feel this tingle as the higher number of hair follicles in these areas leads to quicker absorption.
Given the skin on our face is usually on the sensitive side and has minimal hair follicles, the Magnesium tingle can be more pronounced and lead to a slight redness when applied to this part of the body.
But not to worry, your face can still reap all the benefits that Magnesium has to offer!
We have formulated our popular Magnesium Oil into a dedicated Glow Restore Triple Serum. Not only does it contain pure Magnesium Chloride, but also other nourishing and calming ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid for increased moisture, Niacinamide to complement the Magnesium for an even complexion as well as Salicylic Acid to help gently exfoliate boost the glowing skin we all desire.
This powerful and potent formula boosts collagen production, hydrates and plumps, eliminates redness, targets pigmentation, dark spots, fine lines and other forms of uneven skin tone. You're welcome!
For extra nourishing results, follow the serum with our skin-loving Magnesium & Vitamin E Cream. Enjoy a brighter, smoother, and clearer complexion with the lightweight, non-greasy formulation which sinks into your skin effortlessly and without clogging pores.
Trust us, your skin will thank you!
