Our TOP TIP for growing pumpkin:
Pumpkins are very thirsty plants and need lots of water, but try to keep foliage and fruit dry unless it’s a sunny day. Dampness will make rot and other diseases more likely.

Snow Peas
Such a good vegetable to grow - especially if you have kids, as there's always an abundance of harvest for tasty and healthy treats.
Some recipes to make with your Snow Pea Harvest:
Snow peas with butter and lemon
Fried rice with peas and snow peas
Simple snow peas salad
Our TOP TIP for growing snow peas:
When the pea plants reach a height of 5 cm, spread a layer of straw or chopped leaves over the soil. This will keep the soil moist and cool, and prevent weeds from growing in the garden bed.

Lettuce
A super easy Winter crop to grow if you're just working on your green-thumb. The perfect Winter veggie garden staple.
Some recipes to make with your Lettuce Harvest:
Lettuce salad with tomato and cucumber
Asian chicken lettuce wraps

Our TOP TIP for growing lettuce:
Harvesting lettuce in the morning gives you the best flavor.

Broccoli
Broccoli should absolutely be a staple in your veggie garden this Winter. Not only is it delicious and nutritious, but it's super easy to grow and doesn't require much maintenance which is always a plus!
Some recipes to make with your broccoli Harvest:
Sweetcorn and broccoli slice
Chicken and broccoli alfredo
Broccoli and cheese casserole
Our TOP TIP for growing broccoli:
A layer of mulch will retain moisture in the soil.

Broad Beans
A cool season crop, broadbeans are a great addition to your Winter veggie garden. They are a good source of fibre, high in protein, iron and zinc, great in a variety of dishes.
Some recipes to make with your broccoli Harvest:
Broad bean falafels
Orecchiette with broad beans, butter and parmesan
Fresh broad bean and fennel salad
Our TOP TIP for growing broccoli:
