The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window starring Kristen Bell on Netflix is the latest subject of many a Mummy WhatsApp groups. It's a comical thriller (if there is such a thing) and follows one woman's attempts at drinking away her pain following an terrible tragedy three years ago... Anna is a woman in her 40s, and her daily routine is drinking wine and taking pills while looking out her front window... Her daily routine starts to get a little more interesting when new neighbours Neil (Tom Riley), Lisa (Shelley Hennig) and daughter Emma (Samsara Yet) move in. But on one stormy night, wine in hand, Anna thinks she has seen Lisa be murdered and starts to investigate the incidence herself. Everyone around her, including herself, becomes a murder suspect. You see, magnesium can help maintain our energy levels and healthy hearts.  It is also popularly known as a mineral essential for a good night's sleep by naturally relaxing muscles. With less of it, there's a good chance we might not get a deep and restful slumber our bodies need. I mean, who doesn't love a more rejuvenating and fantastic sleep? Unfortunately, getting a good night's sleep is easier said than done for many people.  Perhaps you are a busy mum taking care of your kids and keeping the household running smoothly... Sometimes, there just isn't enough time in the day to get everything done - never mind getting a complete eight hours of shut-eye. If sleeping isn’t your issue, maybe you are here because you are experiencing other symptoms of low magnesium.  Things like muscle cramps or spasms, frequent headaches, Irregular heartbeats, constipation and so on… That is why it is critical to know what depletes magnesium in your body, what blocks magnesium absorption, and what low magnesium symptoms are. It’s Eczema Awareness Week so we’re bringing some light to the very common skin condition that affects more than 1 million Australians.   Also called atopic dermatitis, eczema is a very common skin condition that is used to describe red, dry itchy and scaly skin. It can occur at any age but is typically seen in babies and young children until it usually disappears around six years of age – however, it a small percentage may continue to experience it well into adulthood.   Currently, there is no known cure for eczema, but proper treatment can offer symptom control.   Please note: If you think you have eczema, we recommend you see a doctor or skin specialist as only they can formally diagnose you. They can prescribe medication and suggest treatments that suit you best as each case is highly individual.     Some self-care measures may include:   Moisturise your skin at least twice a day to prevent dryness, and whenever your skin feels dry and itchy. Aim for six to eight hours a night, stick to a regular schedule and turn off screens at least one hour before you want to go to bed. We’ve got bad news: sleeping in on the weekend can upset this schedule and in turn, undo the progress. But the good news: if you’re working from home, studies have shown that no more than 15-to-20-minute naps can actually result in better productivity if you need an energy boost.   Relieve tension   We all know that that sitting down all day can result in a tight, sore body (hello, back pain). In the office, consider a standing desk or one that’s designed to help you maintain good posture along with an ergonomically designed chair. You could even place a rolled-up towel at the base of your spine while sitting to encourage you to sit straighter and provide you with some stability.
